A Glass is Half Full Kind of Guy

Mommy: Paxton, did anything good happen at school today?

Paxton: Well on the behavior chart today I didn't get better...but I didn't get worse!

The Right Thing to Say

After letting the boys play video games, it was time for bed, and I was getting very aggravated with both of them. Ben was doing everything he could not to throw a tantrum, knowing I'd take games away the next day, but still working my last nerve, and Paxton ended up not going to bed either and plopped himself into a chair with a book.

Mommy: Paxton go to bed.

Paxton: Mommy, I'm reading a book. I was playing games and now I have to get my brain working again.

On Aging

Ben: Morah Ruth is really old and I think that means she must know everything.

Paxton: No that's not true, because old people – for them – it's really easy to forget things.

Undergarments

While getting ready for bed, Paxton had a question for me...

Paxton: Mommy, are you going to wear your booby-holder to sleep?

Mommy: No Paxton, I am not going to wear my booby-holder to sleep.

Paxton: If you don't wear your booby holder though your boobies will fall off.

Mommy: I don't think so Paxton.

Paxton: I'm sure of it.

Hotlanta

We recently visited Uncle Jonny in Atlanta. Until Ben visited I hadn't realized how great the amenities of this fine city were.

Ben: Atlanta is so cool. This place is awesome! It has trees for air.

Please note: when reading the above quote, please say the word "awesome" in a higher octave and sing-songy

Eating Right

Benjamin: Daddy can I have a lemon.

Joshua: Yes Ben, you can.

Benjamin: Does Paxton want a lemon?

Paxton: No thanks.

Benjamin: But Paxton they're kosher!
